Penny Price: TV/Video Producer, Director, Writer
PENNY PRICE is an award-winning producer, director, writer, and has been in the television field since 1974. During her career, she has worked on many Emmy-winning, national, talk and magazine shows including: Good Morning America and NBC Magazine, to name just a few. In 1995 Penny used her skills as a producer-writer-director and launched, Penny Price Media, a video and television production and distribution company dedicated to producing empowering and uplifting programming. The company produces documentaries and videos with renowned experts in the body/mind/spirit fields. This work includes: SPLENDORS OF THE SPIRIT: Swedenborg's Quest for Insight – A documentary aired on PBS 2002- 2005. It won CHRIS, TELLY, NY Festival, International Film & Video Festival awards; SHINING SOUL: Helen Keller's Spiritual Life and Legacy – A documentary to be aired on PBS in 2006-2008. 1994, Price was the Coordinating
Producer of GERALDO, as well as a Producer and Writer for the show. While
there, she became recognized for a number of investigative series on
subjects including; AIDS, that won her a Maggie Award; the environment; and
government - that influenced legislation. She also produced numerous highly
respected programs on body/ mind/spirit topics including; complimentary
